Vancouver, WA - February 2, 2007 LaserGrade announced today that it has signed an agreement with The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) to deliver The Certified Landscape Technician - Interior Examination. Beginning in January 2007, the examination will be delivered nationwide via LaserGrade’s secure testing network.

PLANET emerged on January 1, 2005, when the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA) and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) joined forces to become a more encompassing network of green industry professionals.

PLANET develops and maintains active programs for approximately 4,400 member firms in the areas of business management, government affairs, public relations, technical assistance, safety and insurance, education, and interindustry relations with other facets of the green industry. It also offers several certification programs that recognize those who have demonstrated a high level of skill and dedication to quality. Candidates for the CLT-I designation must pass a four-hour written test, covering such topics as pesticides, plant identification, safety, watering/sub-irrigation, pruning, fertilization, insects, disease, and customer relations.

“LaserGrade is very proud to be partnering with PLANET in the delivery of their examinations. PLANET recognizes the flexibility, affordability and professionalism LaserGrade offers in delivering their online exams via our secure proctored internet service. Not only is our technology affordable and flexible, but our convenient and secure professional test centers make it easier for candidates across the country to test,” said Mark Setash, CEO of LaserGrade.

Joel Hafner, PLANET’s International Certification Council Chairman, stated “After a very thorough search of testing companies; comparing customer service, flexibility, price, available technologies, and professional testing facilities, we are confident that our partnership going forward with LaserGrade is the best solution for PLANET and our testing candidates. LaserGrade has more than 10 years of experience delivering computer-based exams. They have delivered more than one million exams. Quite simply, they know our business and can offer the customer service we desire.”
