First Computer-based Delivery of the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution Examinations an Overwhelming Success

Vancouver, WA - January 3, 2007 The Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) delivered the first computerized version of the CBSPD battery of examinations through LaserGrade’s national test center network and the Board has declared the new delivery mode a resounding success.

“It was an unqualified success! The feedback we received from those who took the computer-based examinations has all been very positive”, said CBSPD Executive Director Nancy Chobin. “Candidates were able to schedule the tests with greater convenience, at more locations and then were able to receive immediate, unofficial test results.”

“Anytime you make a conversion of this magnitude it is a daunting process”, Ms. Chobin continued. “Working with the folks at LaserGrade made the transition much more manageable and the team effort between CBSPD and LaserGrade ultimately made the conversion a success. There were some issues from our previous vendor and the folks at LaserGrade worked with us to resolve those issues and have the tests ready for the first window.”
