LASERGRADE ANNOUNCES NEW CONTRACT WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF FINANCE AND INSURANCE PROFESSIONALS

Vancouver, WA - October 11, 2006 LaserGrade, LP, the largest United States owned and operated computer-based test delivery network in North America, announced that it has signed an exclusive, multi-year contract with the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals to provide computer-based test delivery of the AFIP Certification Program exams.

Founded in 1989, the AFIP Certification Program consists of college-level courses focusing on federal and state regulations unique to the Finance & Insurance (F&I) trade and an ethics module jointly developed with the Walsh Institute for Ethical Behavior. The courses are designed to give F&I practitioners and the lenders and vendors that support the F&I trade the legal and ethical guidelines they need to make more money doing their job within the confines of the law. AFIP Certification is the MBA of the F&I trade – recommended by the National Automobile Dealers Association and supported by select Automobile Trade Association Executives.

“After completing the college-level, regulation-based AFIP Certification Course, our candidates need a convenient way to take their certification exams. We’ve been using a network of individual proctors for this purpose. While this worked for us, it was not always easy for our candidates to locate and connect with a proctor in their area.
