LaserGrade and International Code Council Announce New Testing with the State of Idaho

Vancouver, WA - October 26, 2005. LaserGrade today announced that the State of Idaho has signed an agreement that will enable the International Code Council (ICC) and LaserGrade, to provide computer-based testing services for ten new electrical trade and contractor business and law examinations.

ICC and LaserGrade together have partnered to deliver computer-based contractor exams for states across the country. States have increasingly been moving from paper and pencil examinations to LaserGrade's cutting edge computer- based technology. LaserGrade, with secure computer-based testing centers across the United States and Canada, is the largest United States owned and operated network in North America.

"The Division is pleased that ICC and LaserGrade will be providing examinations for electrical trades people and contractors in our state," said Steve Keys of the Idaho State Division of Building Safety. ICC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing a single set of comprehensive and coordinated national model construction codes. ICC offers a wide array of examinations designed to test the knowledge of professional code enforcement and construction officials. Available to the code professional are examinations covering building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing inspection as well as permitting and plans approval. Examinations covering the more practical applications required for licensure are available to contractors.
