LaserGrade
and the Experimental Aircraft Association announce Agreement
in support of Sport Pilot Certification
Vancouver,
WA - July
18, 2005 LaserGrade today announced a new agreement
with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), the
world's largest recreational aviation membership association
with over 170,000 members. As part of this agreement, the
two organizations will develop joint marketing efforts
intended to increase the volume of Sport Pilot testing in
LaserGrade test centers and to inform pilots of the many
benefits EAA provides to its membership. A new benefit being
offered to EAA members under this agreement is a $5 discount
on the price of all FAA tests taken at LaserGrade centers.
The Experimental Aircraft Association is a growing and
diverse organization of members with a wide range of
aviation interests and backgrounds. EAA was founded in 1953
in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Through the decades, the
organization has expanded its mission to include various
types of aircraft such as antiques, classics, warbirds,
aerobatic, ultralights, helicopters and contemporary
manufactured aircraft.
Some projections indicate that, within one to two years,
there may be as many as 30,000 to 50,000 Sport Pilot tests
administered each year.
LaserGrade, with over 1,000 computer-based testing
centers across the United States and Canada, including 30
international sites, is the largest US owned and operated
network in North America. LaserGrade is one of only two
computer-based testing companies authorized by the Federal
Government to administer all Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) Airman Knowledge Tests.
"We are pleased and excited to be working with EAA
on this membership program," said LaserGrade President
and CEO Judith Moore. "This opportunity comes at a
great time for members, many of whom will be taking the new
Sport Pilot knowledge exams in the coming months."

ABOUT
EAA
EAA, the Experimental Aircraft Association, is a growing
and diverse organization of members with a wide range of
aviation interests and backgrounds. EAA was founded in 1953
by a group of individuals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who were
interested in building their own airplanes. Through the
decades, the organization expanded its mission to include
antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic aircraft,
ultralights, helicopters and contemporary manufactured
aircraft.
More
importantly, the organization focused on people, offering
the opportunity to make new aviation friends and form
relationships while encouraging the sharing of information,
stories and enthusiasm. The focus of EAA is communication,
through our publications, Chapter network, websites,
AirVenture
and numerous other programs. There is literally something
for everyone.
